23/24 Tryout Registration Open

Yakima Elite Volleyball Club will be holding summer tryouts for the 23/24 season which will start in November after school volleyball is over. We have done the summer tryout for the last two years as it is slowly becoming the new normal across the nation. If for some reason we do not fill our teams or have additional coaching capabilities we will also hold tryouts in the fall. You can read more about this on our website at: https://yakimaelite.com/2023/06/05/summer-tryouts-adopt-or-abandon/

We are doing our very best to work around the other club dates/times along with the Summer High School tournament in Selah that weekend. The tryouts will be as follows:

Friday, July 28th – U15-U17 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday, July 29th – U10-U12 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Saturday, July 29th – U13/14 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Sunday, July 30th – U15/16 MAKE-UP. Must schedule ahead.

Wed. Aug. 2nd – U11, U12, U13, 14 Make-up tryouts if needed. Must schedule ahead.

If you are considering tryout out but need a makeup date/time please put that in the registration notes. We will do our best to coordinate a makeup time/date but there are no guarantees. If your #1 goal is to play for our club you should make every effort to attend the tryout days. The tryout fee will be collected at the door. You must pre-register online at: https://yakima-elite-volleyball.sportngin.com/register/form/994690156

Three things that I feel set us apart from other clubs:

Communication – We will always communicate upfront what you can expect from us in your season. This includes payments, practices, playing time, coaching, player/parent expectations, etc. You will know what you are getting into before stepping foot on the court. We will keep all lines of communication open with an emphasis on teaching players to communicate with each other and with their coaches.

Experience – All of our Head Coaches have coached Volleyball before, many have coached Club Volleyball. All of our assistant coaches have either coached or worked with children in an academic or athletic setting before. Our goal is to teach consistent volleyball skills and knowledge and to develop the athlete as a whole in a competitive learning atmosphere.

Dedication – From the top of the Club Director down to the team parents we are dedicated to you/your player. The Club director communicates with coaches on an ongoing basis and is aware of all club communications. If you send an email it will be replied to, if you call or text you will get a response back. If you have like-minded views and priorities we would love to see you at tryouts this year. Please feel free to reach out or call with any questions.

See you on the court!
